Well, I'm not really missing in action, but since the end of May it seems like it.
School is out which I love.
The kids have been getting along pretty good.
We've been busy with lots of yard work, cleaning out closets, cleaning out the shed, gardening, and just getting rid of stuff we don't use. It feels good. Our DI pile seems to be growing by the minute! The garage is the next item on the list... oh boy!
Of course, we have been swimming, and visiting Tops yogurt too frequently. We went to Six Flags and that was a lot of fun. Sophie wasn't too thrilled to be stroller bound, but what are you gonna do? She is becoming a good little walker. But I don't know if I am ready to unleash her in public.
I have been practicing editing photos in photoshop. My SIL Stacey gave me a few pointers when she came for Spencer's baptism and I should have recorded her voice as she explained so many things to me. Next time!
.
Filippo has been busy swimming all summer. He is doing great, especially his backstroke. He tried double practices last week (morning and evening) and he was like a zombie the next day. Evan started summer football, and was happy that he didn't throw up the first week. He walked around like a zombie drinking water all day so he didn't get dehydrated. I could only stand the zombie sleepy teenage boy thing for a day and put them to work the next morning. Sorry boys :) but I had to bring you back to reality.
Jenny is working for her bf's dad and for Dave. She is doing good...just saving up for BYU Idaho. Oh to be 17 again. Second thought, I like 36 :)
We have been preparing for Dave to get laid off in July, but things are looking much better. Say a prayer that they don't have to lay anyone off from the Sheriff's dept. Thank you!
I will post some new pictures soon. Camera drama. Drives me crazy!
